I relish the feeling of crisp new pages,
the scent of ink in the air.
Books that speak of enchanted places.
A handsome prince, a maiden fair.
Others hold on to answers unspoken,
for all my questions unsaid.
Volumes of secrets locked deep within,
not known till opened and read.
Here in this place where new friends meet,
a place where dreamers dream,
I read of a world outside of my own,
with things not quite as they seem.
Knowledge, adventure they’re one in the same,
growing as we learn.
Inspired by those who, choosing to share,
have caused this passion to burn.
It matters not, the reason you came,
go grab a seat, draw near.
This is a place for like-minded people,
and we’re just glad you’re here.
