Celebrate what we have been given:
this immeasurable gift of expression,
the joy and sorrow of self-discovery,
the revelation of new perspectives,
of one another.
Discover the wealth of color and hue
found in the depths of a single word.
Throw pigments with audacity and freedom,
veraciously layering them upon the canvas
that is life.
Lift up what is beautiful, what is sweet,
what moves the spirit and nourishes the soul,
what heals and protects, liberates and frees,
what expands consciousness and opens the mind,
before it is gone.
Before
we
are gone.
For the world will turn,
move on,
without us,
when all that is left
are our words.

Oh, Evie, this resonates with me. I feel like I have so much to write before I am gone. Sometimes I am desperate to get it all out while I have time and the brain cells to do it. I love the idea of color and hue in the words we choose.
